Back again for a lunch. This is clearly the "local" for many patrons. We were first here many years ago. Good to see a restaurant that has survived and has a loyal following. The service was friendly and good. The portions are lunch time were large and I took home half of the entree. The lemon cello cake was fantastic; nice presentation and a wonderful finish to the meal.

The food was delicious and we are regular diners here. One note: we ordered mussels (we always Dias they are fabulous). However, they have completely changed the size of the order. In the past, we couldn't finish the mussels. There were so many. Not tonight. They didn't raise the price, but they changed the portion size. And that was a disappointment.

Our favorite restaurant! Great food and service. Lovely ambiance. Manager and staff are caring and always attentive. AAA+

I can't believe we came here for the very first time after living in Herndon for years. We have gone to almost every establishment in the shopping center and was always curious of this one as it was always busy on a Friday night and the weekends. This is definitely a place where the locals gather to eat delicious Italian food and see their friends and buddies for a fun evening out. The servers are so friendly and attentive and they know their patrons as many of them seem to be regulars. The hostess graciously fitted us in on a Saturday evening and service was spectacular. We like the variety of options in the kids menu and the affordable prices. Our kids enjoyed their butter pasta and rainbow pizza (in the shape of rainbow fish). My husband's bucatini carbonara was the favorite dish of the evening. The noodles were cooked al dente and the sauce was creamy, flavorful, and just absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed their seafood pasta where each piece of seafood was fresh and not tough to chew, including the calamari and mussels. This is easily our new favorite spot for Italian food in the area.

Hidden in an ordinary strip mall is this charming, family run gem.Huge portions, hot fresh bread, homemade pasta, delicious meatballs and rockfish. Our server Evie was helpful with suggestions and questions. We lingered over wine but never felt rushed. For a casual meal out of spaghetti and meatballs to a memorable family gathering over seafood- This is a reliably good choice.

Food and service was great. Food came out hot and every dish was so tasty. Even the bread basket was delicious. We had to stop ourselves so we wouldn't get full off the bread. I thoroughly enjoyed the flounder special. The fish had a nice crisp top with spinach and thin noodles. I finished the entire dish, so good. Everyone else in our party enjoyed their dish and spoke about coming again. I've gone here before for lunch and had their pizzas which were also delicious.

Honestly, I was surprised at how yummy the pasta was! We made a reservation, I'm glad we did. This little hole in the wall gets packed!!! The food takes a while to make once ordered, but very worth the wait. For starters we got the complimentary bread 4/10 - basic Greek salad 6/10 For main course we ordered the Carbonara 10/10 pasta al forno 7/10 Dessert Tiramisu 6/10 Overall, I'd come back for the Carbonara.

My girlfriend was feeling like having pasta so we decided on Piero's. We had never been here so it was nice to find somewhere new. We started with the free bread which doesn't come with butter but rather a pesto & oil mixture. She didn't care for it but I liked it. We then shared a Greek salad as an appetizer but my one complaint is that it was far too drenched in dressing. It left an almost overly salty taste with each bite. For main courses I ordered the carbonara and added chicken and my girlfriend ordered the pasta along with forno which is essentially a baked ziti. We both agreed that the carbonara was the better of the two. The pasta tasted better and had a different consistency. Highly recommend the carbonara. The Al forno was very good as well, it just was in an unfair fight from the beginning. We finished with a tiramisu. It was a very large slice for the price. It was fluffy and light but still quite delicious. The service was good. Our waitress was busy but still made sure to stop by for refills and to check on us. For a Friday night, a reservation is recommended. It was quite busy when we got there at 8:20 so thankfully we had an 8:30 reservation. The ambiance definitely feels cozy. There's a local feel to it that's hard to describe but it's nice. The bar top overlooks the pizza oven as well as a chalk board with drink specials on it. There's also a private dining area you can reserve for special events! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I would happily go back. They also have lunch deals M-F so if you don't want a large serving, that could be the move for you.

Came here with a friend to catch up. The staff was very nice and helpful; they checked up on us frequently. It wasn't too busy on a Wednesday evening, and it has a much more intimate vibe to it. The Carciofi Fritti was a delightful, light appetizer to start with and the accompanying tartar sauce helped cut the oiliness and the touch of arugula helped balance the oiliness of the fried artichoke. Ravioli Croccanti had so much cheese, the cheese pull was chefs kiss. It also came with warm bread and the herbal oil mixture was light. Overall, a pretty good, relaxing dinner.

Decided to try out Piero's with a few friends of mine, since we always pass by this place on the way home. Well, I can't believe we haven't heard of this place sooner! The Food: The food was incredibly delicious! Piero's definitely shot up to one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the area so far. The quality of the homemade pasta, the freshness of the seafood and how the overall dishes were so well built. All the dishes we had were perfect. I went with the "Bucatini Carbonara", and man was it incredibly. From the creamy sauce, to the pasta itself. It was to die for. All dishes well portioned out as well! Notable mentions are the fried calamari, absolutely amazing. From the light batter that is fried perfectly. It was one of the best apps there. The Service: Service was absolutely great! The staff were so welcoming and patient with our big group. Everyone was so friendly and it really felt like a nice family restaurant. Water refills and occasional check ups were consistent as well. Amazing service. The Atmosphere: Italian aesthetic that is tastefully decorated. very spacious restaurant with plenty of seating. Definitely gives off that homey and family feel. Overall, a 5/5! My friends and I had such a great experience here! From the amazing food to such a warm/welcoming group of staff members. I'll be back again for sure!
